FAQ
Good questions.
What kind of menu can it open?
Anything with an https link: a PDF on Google Drive, a menu website, or your page on a delivery app.
Do I need new cards when the menu changes?
No. Update the file or the link and every card opens the new menu.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. iPhone XS and newer read NFC cards on their own when the screen is on. Most Android phones read them when NFC is turned on, which it usually is by default. Any phone can scan the QR code.
Can I change what my card opens later?
Yes, anytime and as often as you like. The card stays the same; we change where it points. No reprinting.
Does the card need charging or a battery?
No. The NFC chip has no battery. It is powered by the phone for the split second it is being read.
